Risk
In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Thor will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. Risk and remedy
Risk
The screws could fail, causing the supporting bracket to fail, and the awning to fall and potentially strike and injure a person beneath it.
Remedy
TMC will notify owners, and dealers will remove and replace the defective screws, free of charge. The recall began January 23, 2015. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-500-1020. TMC's number for this recall is RC000097.
Thor Motor Coach (Thor) is recalling certain model year 2015 Four Winds 5000, Hurricane, Miramar, Chateau Citation, Chateau, Four Winds Siesta, Windsport, and Freedom Elite motorhomes manufactured August 7, 2014, to October 17, 2014. The affected motorhomes have awnings whose mounting brackets may crack, and the awnings may fall.
Risk and remedy
Risk
If an awning falls, there is an increased risk of injury to anyone under the awning.
Remedy
Thor has notified owners, and dealers will replace the defective mounting brackets, free of charge. The recall began on November 10, 2014. Owners may contact Thor customer service at 1-877-855-2867. Thor's number for this recall is RC000095.

2015 THOR, SK35 Super C Motorhome. Front cap over cab of chassis has defective hardware holding the front nose cap to the rear section of the main coach box. Screws are to small and break after just a few thousand miles. When the cap separates it causes vibrations and leaks to the Ford F 550 chassis.
- Wheels
Thick hard plastic panels in front wheels are in contact with the tires resulting in tire wear and creating a safety hazard of possible tire failure. pictures attached.

On certain model year 2012 2018 5-ton Sprinter vehicles that were upfitted into campers or recreational vehicles (RVs), one or more of the rear-wheel speed sensors may experience an electrical failure, which potentially could lead to a disablement of the Electronic Stability Control (ESP) control unit functions. If ESP control unit functions are disabled, vehicle driving stability may be impacted under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash. This affects the following Thor Motor Coach products: model year 2013-2020 Chateau Citation & Four Winds Siesta, 2017-2019 Compass, 2017-2020 Four Winds, Gemini, Quantum, Chateau, & Synergy, and 2018-2020 Freedom Elite motorhomes
