I was driving my car and heard a loud sound and then my airbags went off. I lost control on my steering and was able to coast the car to shoulder. The airbags deployed even though there was no collision with another car. Under further inspecting it looks as if all the bolts came loose on the drive Trane. I have no idea why the airbags went off. I did sustain an minor injury to my hand. police were called, fire trucks checked for possible fire hazards. I looked for recalls and or air bag malfuctions for this year make and model but did not find any. Had I not been in the far right lane I could have been in a serious accident. The airbags deploying scared me. Both the driver and passenger side airbags went off. I was the only one in the vehicle.

I was driving on Business Highway 85 in Thomasville, North Carolina on a clear, cool day. There were no other cars on the road, and no overpasses. While traveling at about 60 miles per hour, all of a sudden there sounded a loud bang overhead, like an explosion. I immediately pulled over to discover the sunroof was completely shattered, appearing to have exploded from the inside out, with the glass pointing upward toward the center. Luckily, the sun shade was closed or glass would have flown all over myself and my son in the backseat. Also fortunate that no other cars were on the road, as glass would have flown at any cars behind me as well. I reached my destination and cleaned up the glass and vacuumed it so as not to endanger anyone while driving. I have not had the car inspected yet, but it is available for inspection. There was no warning whatsoever of this happening, and I am certain nothing fell on the car. There was nowhere for anything to fall from and there was nothing in the crevice but shattered glass.

Out of nowhere my car will shut off at high rates of speed and at low rates of speed without any warning my check engine light comes on as well as other lights and the code IS for the crankshaft position sensor faulting and the camshaft position sensors faulting. The car can be in motion at 5MPH or even at 70mph and the car will comnpletely die with no control over the vehicle as the sterring wheel locks up completely. Not sure why other infiniti G35 coupes were covered under this recall but im having the very same issues as the others with failed sensors

Recently I was traveling on the freeway, not under an overpass and there was no one in front of me. I rolled my window up and shortly after that there was a loud crashing sound of shattering glass, I look in my rearview mirror to see that there were a ton of black specks coming from my car. I cracked the sunroof cover slightly only to find a shower of glass and a hole in my roof where the sunroof used to be. I closed the cover back up so I wouldn't get anymore glass in my cabin or on me, found somewhere to park and inspect my vehicle. I found that the glass had shattered upwards (air pressure maybe???) either way, this should never have happened, I am now terrified of having a sunroof because why wouldn't it shatter again like that? It was one of the single most traumatizing events that have ever happened, I couldn't even imagine what it would have been like if the cover was open! I could have got little glass shards in my eyes and the outcome could have been extremely worse.

Infiniti Original Equipment Alloy or Genuine Accessory wheels subjected to aftermarket chroming may no longer continue to meet these standards and may be seriously damaged. Therefore, Infiniti most strongly discourages, and recommends that these wheels NEVER be subjected to, aftermarket chroming. See this bulletin for further details.

- 10149806TRANSMISSION & ENGINE AUTOMATED DATA COLLECTION AND DIAGNOSTIC REPORTING SERVICE INFORMATION To support proper diagnosis and to promote Fixed-Right-First-Time ? Infiniti may review CONSULT-III plus (CIII plus) data relating to vehicle operation and function to help with vehicle diagnosis and diagnostic validation. - 10149803Infiniti USA Electronic Field Communication Subject: Takata Completion Objectives for Q3 INFINITI is continuing to ask its retailers to urgently help increase customer participation in the Takata recalls to help it achieve 100% customer recall participation for the following vehicles: ? 2001 I30 ? 2002-04 I35 ? 2003-08 FX ? 2002-03 QX4 ? 2006-10 M Sedan INFINITI expects to upload the next refreshed owner list to DBS within the next week. We will also be reassigning VINs to retailers based on information changes. We didn?t reassign any VINs in Q2 to avoid any mid-quarter objective impact. If VINs were repaired out of network, the retailer/region with the original assignment received credit for the repair. This is an extremely serious safety issue and INFINITI is taking significant and unprecedented steps to increase client recall participation but it needs retailer help to achieve its remedy goals. A separate communication will be released later this month informing regional personnel of the requirements for bonus payout in Q3 and Q2 results. The Q3 objective is based on the average number of repairs in Q2 multiplied by the number of service days in Q3 (Mon-Sat minus any holidays). Retailer engagement is critical with this effort. It is a company-wide responsibility to make it a priority to replace these dangerous airbag inflators in affected vehicles. Further, increasing recall participation represents significant gross profit opportunity for our retailers.
- 10149802Infiniti USA Electronic Field Communication Subject: Retailed Vehicle Open Campaign Report Lists Updated The lists for each retailer?s Retailed Vehicle Open Campaign Report has been updated today in DBS. We made our best effort to reassign vehicles to retailers based on the most recent owner information we received. The complexity of filtering out brokers (banks, salvage yards, and insurance companies) and reassigning VINs based on updated owner information affected over 123K records between INFINITI and Nissan, so we are unable to summarize the changes at a regional or retailer level. We suggest the retailers download their lists and have their outbound call centers compare information if necessary. If you have questions, please let us know. Additionally, we will have some enhancements coming in DBS effective November 17, 2018: Owner Data Updates (NNA side): 1. VIN, Campaign Code, and Source are the unique fields 2. Compare all fields except Remove Flag and Comments to see if there is a difference. a. If there is same VIN, Camp ID, and Source and all other fields are also the same then the record will be updated without changing Remove Flag and Comment field b. If there is same VIN, Camp ID, and Source and any other field is different, then the record will be inserted, in this case Remove Flag and Comment field will be blank as this is new record. The remove flag is being removed so the retailer will understand the information they previously flagged for removal has been updated and should be tried again before reapplying the removal flag. c. The retailer benefit of A & B above is duplicate records for the same VIN, Camp ID, and information source with the same customer contact information will no longer display in DBS on the Retailed Vehicle Open Campaign Report.
- 10145541DBS Enhancement: Retailed Vehicle Open Campaign Report INFINITI announced the availability of a new DBS enhancement tool to the Service > Campaign screen: Retailed Vehicle Open Campaign Report on July 9, 2018, which identifies owner contact information for specific campaigns. Currently, only Takata campaign owner lists are available. The following personnel will have access to this tool: - Retailer: Dealer Principal, Executive Managers, General Managers, Parts/Service Managers, and/or Parts/Service Directors - Regions: Regional Aftersales Manager (RAM), Regional Operations Managers (ROM), Fixed Operations Manager (FOM), Dealer Operation Managers (DOM), Regional Service Operation Managers (RSOM), and Client Experience Managers (CEM) The report can be viewed on screen or exported to Microsoft Excel and identifies the following: - VIN - Campaign ID & Campaign Description - Model & Model Year - Data Source o Up to three data sources can be provided for each VIN - RO Info: If this VIN has visited an Infiniti retailer anywhere in the U.S. within the last twelve months, the RO information will be displayed. - Campaign Mailing List: This is DMV data for the VIN listed - Marketing List: If an owner is on your marketing list, their contact information from that list will be displayed here.
