The front driver and passenger seat back height does not conform to the requirements of fmvss no. 202, "head restraints."
Consequence of non-compliance: seat occupants are subject to increased risk of injury in the event of a sudd stop or accident.
Sherry designs will provide an attachable headrest for the dealer or customer to add to the seats.
The brake pedal assembly has a pushrod pin that IS too small and it IS installed in the wrong position, causing an increased brake pedal ratio and a decreased master cylinder stroke.
The reduced master cylinder stroke results in failure tomeet the partial system failure requirements of fmvss 105, "hydraulic brakesystems". A further reduction in braking ability at a time when partial systemfailure has occurred could result in a vehicle crash.
Replace the brake assembly.

We have had an ongoing problem with the fuel filler "neck" on this vehicle. when you fill the vehicle up with fuel, once it IS almost full, the gasoline tank "belches" (for lack of a better term) and fuel IS expelled from the tank all over the person filling the vehicle (unless you stand appx. 2' away from the gas pump nozzle). we have talked to owner's of similar vehicles (this IS a full size chevy conversion van) and all of them have the same problem. this IS a very dangerous problem. fuel literally erupting from the filler nozzle can easily spray anyone standing nearby and can cause caustic burns to human flesh. please investigate this serious problem!! both chevrolet & GMC manufactured this vehicle from 1971 - 1996 and most, if not all, probably have the same problem. thank you! *Ak
Seat belts on both front seats are poorly placed and cause the seat belt to lay across the neck of the driver and front seat passenger. This has also caused excessive wear on the belts to the point of being frayed. In an accident, it appears that severe neck injury would occur due to their placement. This IS a mark III conversion van so I am not sure if the fault lies with the manufacturer or the conversion company. *ak
Front suspension rusted through, causing the driver's side front wheel to collapse, and could have caused loss of control. please provide further information. *ak
Torque converter failed causing vibration. Mjs
