Eagle eyes IS recalling 11,534 headlamp assemblies, p/nos. Cs090-b001l and cs090-b001r, sold for use as replacement equipment for the above listed passenger vehicles. these headlamps fail to conform to the lower beam photometry requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

I bought a 2007 dodge caravan, the drivers side window switch seems to be burning out not allowing me to roll the window down on the electric switch and when it does, has a hard time trying to go back up. Then my drivers side passenger van door has a button on top in the front that you can hit it and its suppose to open that side of the van door, the van door also doesn't open from the inside it has to be opened on the outside posing a dangerous issue. But the other switch opens the passenger side van door fine. My 3RD row seats don't want to stay up , they want to lay down posing safety hazards. My bearings or something sound bad, and my passenger side door has to be opened on the inside and wo'nt open on the outside.

Another time after this, directly after filling up gas I was idling at a red light not far from where I fueled up, when my van surged forward! This IS apparently an "extended warranty" up to the 2005 dodge caravan for a faulty vapour/liquid separator valve that IS built into the gas tank. I contacted dodge and they said that because my van was a 2007 not a 2005 that they couldn't recall it. This IS so extremely dangerous and unbelievable that they won't extend this warranty.had someone been coming when I was turning left and my van stalled I would've been t-boned. All of this occurred on a city street.

TL* the contact owns a 2007 dodge caravan. While driving 35 mph, there was a strong exhaust odor and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was coasted to the side of the road and failed to restart. The vehicle was towed to the dealer (putman chrysler jeep dodge, 3 california dr., burlingame, ca 94010) where it was diagnosed that the catalytic converter failed. The vehicle was repaired. After the vehicle was repaired, the contact would become sleepy while driving. The contact believed this was due to carbon monoxide entering the vehicle. She also stated that the floorboard was very hot to the touch. The vehicle was not taken back to the dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The failure mileage was 128,000. The vin was not available.

Loss of headlight illumination nhtsa preliminary evaluation #pe10022 low beams very dim, high beams only work when turn indicator IS held in a forward location. Without high beams I can not drive at night, holding the high beam on via the turn indicator causes dangerous driving. If driving or stationary the low beams do not work. We purchased this vehicle used in 2015, the problem did not happen until 2016, so we were not aware of the recall, as the recall was considered closed in 2015.

But I am worried it will get so hot that the air bags will go off. I have never seen this in any car I have ever owned. Please help.

The vehicle has an unusual amount of rust on the door panels and bottom chase. I've had to replace the muffler due to rust and you can visibly see near the door panels a hole IS forming due to damages from rust/corrosion. The vehicle IS typically kept indoors and should not be experiencing these kinds of damages.

You have to yield to the oncoming traffic (which has the right of way) which IS traveling 55 mph. we pulled out to turn left the car died. and the oncoming traffic had to lock up there brakes and swerve to avoid hitting my family and i. We have been filling only half way up in gas tank around town. Which IS really annoying. We just took a road trip and it was necessary to fill up all the way to make sure we had enough gas in between towns. we would have to get gas only were we could easily hop on and off the freeway. It would die as we pull out of the gas station. I would restart and drive away. it would than be fine on freeway. once up to speed. this IS a huge safety issue for obvious reasons. I hope that someone will figure out the root cause of this issue and no one gets injured from it. I called dodge who said they had no reported issues of this problem. please get to the bottom of this asap before someone gets hurt. *tr

After refueling our 2007 dodge grand caravan, it stalled after going less than a mile. we were making a turn at the time. we lost power steering since the engine stalled & the check oil light came on. we were able to get it to the side of the road. after turning it off for a little while, we got it to restart but after driving less than a mile & turning again, it stalled again. this has been happening after refueling off & on for the past six months. once we were in an intersection & it happened. thank goodness we got it restarted & out of the intersection. it was a very scary situation. we brought it to a dodge dealership & they had never heard of the problem & didn't find anything wrong with it. we just don't know what we are to do at this point. I'm scared to drive it myself let alone let my 15 year old drive it with her learner's permit. *tr

This applies to Cummins 5.9L and 6.7L engines only. Installation: 1. Clean the oil pan T-joints.~ 2. Fill the T-joint between the pan rail/gear housing and pan rail/rear seal retainer with sealant. Use Mopar Silicone Rubber Adhesive Sealant or equivalent. 3. Apply a 2-mm [0.063-in] bead of Mopar Engine Sealant RTV Silicone Rubber Adhesive, to the oil pan flange.~ 4. The four piece gasket will need to be assembled to make a complete oil pan gasket. 5. Lay the oil pan gasket(s) onto the oil pan flange.~ 6. Ensure the oil pan gasket segment joints are properly aligned. 7. Apply a 2-mm [0.063-in] bead of Mopar Engine Sealant RTV Silicone Rubber Adhesive, to the top of the oil pan gasket.~ 8. Install the oil pan. Starting from the center and working outward, tighten the oil pan bolts to 28 Nm [21 ft. lbs.].

All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

- 10136933Part Description: Short Runner Valve (Actuator) Issue Description: Issue 1~ JC,JS '08-09MY 3.5L only~ Caution - Do not replace the intake manifold for a short runner valve (SRV) fault (P1004 / P2008 / P2016 / P2017) or for a manifold tuning valve (MTV) fault (P1005 / P2077 / P2078). Instead follow the service procedure to investigate P codes associated with diagnosis of the SRV or MTV, then cycle the actuator using a diagnostic tool and verify that the PWM output is 50 (+ 2%) de-energized and 80 (+ 2 %) energized. If no problems observed, then idle the vehicle and verify the correct PWM output (50 + 2% PWM). Replace the actuator if you do not get the desired output. Issue 2~ If the SRV actuator or intake manifold is being replaced for a P1004 Short Runner Valve Performance fault code and the vehicle was built prior to 2/5/07 , technicians must complete the module reflash and verification test per TSB 18-003-07 REV. A to ensure the parts need to be replaced. Please reference TSB 18-003-07 REV. A for specific details on the procedure.
