11005689Information warranty bulletin_ this bulletin describes certain additional requirements when submitting a regular warranty or parts warranty claim for fuel tank replacement (labor operation code l1281) on 2022-2025my isuzu f-series vehicles.
11005680The vehicles check engine malfunction indicator lamp (mil) may be illuminated as a result of the engine fan clutch being constantly engaged while the engine IS running, thereby setting a dtc 3243 in the engine control module (ecm). Follow the published diagnostic in the applicable workshop manual (wsm) dtc 3243. If no fault can be found during this normal diagnosis, follow the service procedure in this bulletin to correct the concern.
10249692INFORMATION BULLETIN: Allison recently announced a new transmission fluid: TES 668. While Allison asserts this fluid is interchangeable with TES 295 for its transmissions, it is NOT interchangeable for all Isuzu vehicles. It is important to note that 2018 to 2023 Isuzu F-Series vehicles must USE ONLY the original TES 295 fluid. See Table 1 below for the correct application of TES 295 and TES 668 transmission fluids. Refer to the applicable Workshop Manual for additional information.
10248374Customer satisfaction campaign: in some 2022-2023my isuzu f-series trucks, the rear engine motor mounts may become loose, causing a noticeable vibration while driving. Isuzu dealers will inspect the rear engine motor mounts for this condition and repair them as necessary. This service will be provided free of charge.
10246227This bulletin provides information with regards to the isuzu commercial vehicle (cv) service policies and procedures manual (sppm). The isuzu cv sppm (sections 2.15 and 2.16) provides detailed procedures related to vehicle storage up to and beyond 30 days. Performing these required procedures at the specified intervals will properly maintain vehicles until they are retailed. Failure to follow the procedures outlined may result in repairs and additional costs that could have been avoided. We are providing dealers with this brief overview of the recommended procedures as a reminder to maintain older inventory. Failures resulting from improper, or lack of, storage procedures are not covered under the vehicle factory warranty.
10244947CUSTOMER SATISFACTION CAMPAIGN: In some 2022-2023 MY Isuzu F-Series trucks equipped with RPO 5U5 Tire Size 255/70R22.5, a calibration error caused the affected vehicles to be built with an incorrect tire size value. As a result, the speedometer will show a vehicle speed higher than the actual vehicle speed while driving and the odometer will accumulate miles faster (approximately 14% faster) than the actual or True vehicle miles. Additionally, mileage data collected and stored in the Mimamori Unit (MMU) will be incorrect.
10244945The following information is provided to clearly explain Isuzus policy for control module (engine, transmission, antilock brake, instrument panel, body control, power interface, etc.) reprogramming. Control module calibrations are regularly updated for many reasons. These reasons may include, but are not limited to: model year change, software corrections, certification compliance, product improvement and specific application requirements. However, the mere existence of a newer control module calibration does not necessarily mean that warranty coverage exists or that the calibration must be installed. It is not our policy to update control modules, under warranty or after warranty, based solely on the availability of a newer calibration file. Below are our guidelines for reprogramming control modules.
10244941This bulletin provides information with regards to the Isuzu Commercial Vehicle (CV) Service Policies and Procedures Manual (SPPM).

10225521We have received reports of the front turn signal lenses cracking on Isuzu vehicles. These lenses are cracking from the effects of being washed with alkaline detergents. Alkaline detergents are typically used in industrial settings and are reactive with the paint, metals, and other materials used to make up the exterior components of Isuzu vehicles. Isuzu recommends that only neutral detergents be used when washing Isuzu vehicles. However, if alkaline detergents are used to wash an Isuzu vehicle, it is crucial that all traces of the detergent are rinsed away with water or wiped off as necessary. Allowing alkaline detergent to dry on the turn signal lenses will cause them to crack. Each Isuzu vehicle is originally equipped with an Owner's Manual that includes guidelines for the proper exterior maintenance of the vehicle. The following guidelines are typical of those found in an Isuzu Owner's Manual concerning the use of detergents on a vehicle's exterior.
10222331In some 2022MY Isuzu F-Series trucks, an optional Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration "Inhibit" Switch was installed by mistake instead of the DPF Regeneration "Force" Switch. As a result, the vehicle operator will not be able to "Force" (Start) a DPF regeneration manually. Also, because the Engine Control Module (ECM) was not programmed for the mistakenly installed optional DPF Regeneration Inhibit Switch to function, the "Inhibit" function is not available.
10218932Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Inc. (ICTA) is providing the following procedural recommendations to improve dealer efficiency when submitting Parts Warranty claims. 10218931CONDITION Isuzu Motors Limited has decided that a defect exists in certain 2022 model year Isuzu F-Series vehicles. Due to a software calibration error, the affected vehicles were built without engine exhaust braking functionality. Without engine braking, a driver may experience longer stopping distances than expected, increasing the risk of a crash. CORRECTION Isuzu dealers will have the Cummins Engine Control Module (ECM) reprogrammed with the correct calibration setting for the engine exhaust brake. This service will be performed free of charge. This bulletin is updated to include a sample of the US owner letter.
10218930CONDITION Isuzu Motors Limited has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in certain 2022MY Isuzu FTR vehicles. The affected FTR vehicles were erroneously built with the 2022 MY FVR (Class 7 truck) transmission, which does not have a parking pawl. When the transmission shift lever is set to the Park "P" position in the PRNDL, there is no parking pawl inside the transmission to engage the Park position. If the parking brake is not applied in this condition, the truck can roll away, which could lead to a crash. CORRECTION An Isuzu dealer will replace the existing transmission with the correct and new 2022MY FTR (Class 6 truck) transmission, which includes the parking pawl. This service will be performed free of charge.
10218929The information below is provided to help technicians properly service the 2022MY Isuzu F-Series vehicles equipped with the 6.7L Cummins diesel engine. This bulletin also outlines the diagnostic scan tool connection requirements to facilitate technicians' use of the tool on the Affected Vehicles.

10214884Isuzu Motors Limited has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in certain 2022MY Isuzu F-Series vehicles produced through January 31, 2022. In the affected vehicles, the quick connector used to connect the fuel suction hose to the fuel inlet pipe of the engine was incorrectly sized with a larger quick connector. Because of the larger diameter of the quick connector, the sealing performance at this connection point is inadequate, resulting in the possibility of diesel fuel leakage from the connection point during the manufacturing or servicing process, which potentially increases the risk of a fire. It is also possible that the gap may allow outside air to be sucked into the fuel hose while the engine is running. Air intake into the fuel hose potentially increases the risk of engine stalling, which could lead to a crash.
