10249692INFORMATION BULLETIN: Allison recently announced a new transmission fluid: TES 668. While Allison asserts this fluid is interchangeable with TES 295 for its transmissions, it is NOT interchangeable for all Isuzu vehicles. It is important to note that 2018 to 2023 Isuzu F-Series vehicles must USE ONLY the original TES 295 fluid. See Table 1 below for the correct application of TES 295 and TES 668 transmission fluids. Refer to the applicable Workshop Manual for additional information.

10246227This bulletin provides information with regards to the isuzu commercial vehicle (cv) service policies and procedures manual (sppm). The isuzu cv sppm (sections 2.15 and 2.16) provides detailed procedures related to vehicle storage up to and beyond 30 days. Performing these required procedures at the specified intervals will properly maintain vehicles until they are retailed. Failure to follow the procedures outlined may result in repairs and additional costs that could have been avoided. We are providing dealers with this brief overview of the recommended procedures as a reminder to maintain older inventory. Failures resulting from improper, or lack of, storage procedures are not covered under the vehicle factory warranty.
10244947CUSTOMER SATISFACTION CAMPAIGN: In some 2022-2023 MY Isuzu F-Series trucks equipped with RPO 5U5 Tire Size 255/70R22.5, a calibration error caused the affected vehicles to be built with an incorrect tire size value. As a result, the speedometer will show a vehicle speed higher than the actual vehicle speed while driving and the odometer will accumulate miles faster (approximately 14% faster) than the actual or True vehicle miles. Additionally, mileage data collected and stored in the Mimamori Unit (MMU) will be incorrect.
10244946CUSTOMER SATISFACTION CAMPAIGN: In certain 2023 model year Isuzu F-Series trucks the Mimamori Control module (MMU) was not programmed with the correct tire size value. This error does not affect the drivability or performance of the affected vehicles. However, should Isuzu collect data from the MMU, this error will cause the accumulated mileage value shown in the captured data to be incorrect. As a result, the Isuzu Vehicle Health Report will incorrectly calculate mileage-based information such as the next recommended service date. Dealers will reprogram the MMU to correct the mileage accumulation. This service will be provided free of charge.
10244945The following information is provided to clearly explain Isuzus policy for control module (engine, transmission, antilock brake, instrument panel, body control, power interface, etc.) reprogramming. Control module calibrations are regularly updated for many reasons. These reasons may include, but are not limited to: model year change, software corrections, certification compliance, product improvement and specific application requirements. However, the mere existence of a newer control module calibration does not necessarily mean that warranty coverage exists or that the calibration must be installed. It is not our policy to update control modules, under warranty or after warranty, based solely on the availability of a newer calibration file. Below are our guidelines for reprogramming control modules.

Failure to follow the procedures outlined may result in repairs and additional costs that could have been avoided. We are providing dealers with this brief overview of the recommended procedures as a reminder to maintain older inventory. 10225521We have received reports of the front turn signal lenses cracking on Isuzu vehicles. These lenses are cracking from the effects of being washed with alkaline detergents. Alkaline detergents are typically used in industrial settings and are reactive with the paint, metals, and other materials used to make up the exterior components of Isuzu vehicles. Isuzu recommends that only neutral detergents be used when washing Isuzu vehicles. However, if alkaline detergents are used to wash an Isuzu vehicle, it is crucial that all traces of the detergent are rinsed away with water or wiped off as necessary. Allowing alkaline detergent to dry on the turn signal lenses will cause them to crack. Each Isuzu vehicle is originally equipped with an Owner's Manual that includes guidelines for the proper exterior maintenance of the vehicle. The following guidelines are typical of those found in an Isuzu Owner's Manual concerning the use of detergents on a vehicle's exterior.
