10190467TSB: Some 2015 ? 2017 model year NX 200t, 2016 ? 2017 model year GS 200t, IS 200t, and RC 200t, 2018 ? 2019 model year GS 300, and 2018 ? 2020 model year IS 300, NX 300, and RC 300 vehicles equipped with an 8AR-FTS engine may exhibit a MIL ON condition with one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ?Cylinder Misfire ? P030000, P030027, P030085, P030100, P030200, P030300, P030400. ?Air-Fuel Ratio Imbalance ? P11EA00, P11EC00, P11ED00, P11EE00, P11EF00, P219A00, P219C00, P219D00, P219E00, P219F00. Some vehicles may also enter limp mode, and the Multi-Informational Display (MID) will display the following message: ?reduced engine power ? take vehicle to nearest dealer.? This may be caused by cylinder compression pressure drop due to improper exhaust valve sealing from worn valve guides. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.
10190455TT: Some customers may encounter Bluetooth connectivity concerns such as: ?Difficulty to pair the phone. ?Intermittent Bluetooth failure to connect to the vehicle when first turning on the vehicle. ?Various Bluetooth Audio functions are no longer functioning with customer?s phone such as ability to change the track using the steering wheel controls. 10181738TSB: Some 2016 ? 2020 model year Lexus vehicles with navigation (version less than A1##8020) may exhibit one or more of the following conditions: ?Pink or purple flashing navigation screen. ?Black or blank navigation screen. ?Navigation reset or rebooted intermittently.
10179766TSB: Some 2018 ? 2020 model year Lexus vehicles equipped with the Enform? 2.0 Navigation System require a Special Service Tool (SST) USB flash drive to update the map, points of interest, and system software. The SST is used with applicable vehicles to deliver the update; however, the process for generating license keys differs from previous generations. Before attempting to perform a map update, the head unit?s expiration date must be checked. If the expiration date is still valid, a license key may be generated without the use of an activation card number. Updating the maps without the use of an activation card number is considered an Embedded Navigation Update (refer to pg. 10) and performing this process does not extend the duration of telematic map services. If the head unit?s expiration date is expired or will expire within the next 90 days, it should be recommended to the customer to purchase an activation number. Utilizing an activation number will initiate a Dynamic Navigation Update (refer to pg. 4). This Dynamic Navigation Update will perform the Embedded Navigation Update and provide telematic map services for a period of two years from the day that the Dynamic Navigation Update is performed. Activation card numbers are provided in an activation card number pamphlet available through the normal parts ordering system.

10177780TSB: SUPERSESSION NOTICE The information contained in this bulletin supersedes Service Bulletin Nos. ST004-01, SU001-08, and L-SB-0174-08. The aforementioned bulletins are obsolete, and any printed versions should be discarded. Be sure to review the entire content of this service bulletin before proceeding. This Service Bulletin provides best practice procedures for vehicle pulling complaint, diagnosis, and repair for 2002 ? 2021 model year Lexus vehicles. This information supplements Repair Manual procedures when the symptoms are: ?Vehicle Pulling: The vehicle moves to the right or left when the driver holds the steering wheel while driving straight ahead without exerting steering effort. ?Steering Wheel Off Center: The vehicle travels straight, but the steering wheel is not pointed straight ahead. The vehicle is not pulling. Before repairing a vehicle pulling to one side, it is necessary to clearly identify the cause of the pulling condition. Frequently, pulling to one side is diagnosed as a wheel alignment concern. However, the actual cause may be related to the lateral force generated by the tires, vehicle damage, road crown or worn components. Performing a wheel alignment when tire force is the cause could result in the wheel alignment being set at a value outside of specifications. This could then cause other problems such as uneven tire wear, etc. A customer may notice a pull to the left when in the left lanes of travel and notice a pull to the right or no pull when traveling in the right lanes of travel on the very same section of roadway. This road crown effect is environmental and cannot be corrected with suspension adjustments or any other wheel or tire modification discussed in this bulletin.

10174907TT: After performing a battery test using the DCA-8000 battery diagnostic charger and the battery health has been considered a ?Good? condition, the DCA will automatically enter a post-test charging mode. In the post-test charging mode, the DCA analyzes the current state of charge of the battery and automatically begins to charge the battery to a fully charged condition, 100% state of charge. The time required to charge the battery to full will vary. Once the DCA enters the post-test charging mode the battery test has been completed, and further charging can be conducted under the Technician?s discretion. Selecting ?Stop? will cancel the automatic charging of the battery and return the user to the DCA results screen. The test results and charge time can be printed or emailed from the results screen.

10155231TSB: This bulletin details the supplemental procedure to confirm Telematics Data Communication Module (DCM) activation for applicable 2018 ? 2019 model year Lexus vehicles after the process is initiated by Techstream. The steps outlined in this bulletin include: ? Techstream Messages ? DCM Activation Confirmation ? Vehicle Confirmation
10155230TT: Some models are equipped with front and rear wheels of different offsets or width. Wheel offset, defined as the distance between the wheel?s centerline and the wheel-to-rotor mounting surface, affects the clearance between the back of the wheel and surrounding brake components (Figure 1). Installation of a wheel with an offset or width different than the correct specification, such as installing the rear wheel on the front, can cause damage to brake components due to interference between the wheel and adjacent parts. The wheel could contact the brake caliper thereby introducing stress into the caliper, brake rotor, and potentially other components. In some cases, this stress could contribute to cracking or separation of the brake rotor.
10154798TT: The microphone circuit passes through the DCM before reaching the radio/navigation system. To simplify the diagnosis of the microphone, Safety Connect SOS button lights, and DCM (telematics transceiver) inoperative conditions, refer to the procedure below to prevent unnecessary parts replacement.

10153196TSB: SUPERSESSION NOTICE The information contained in this bulletin supersedes Service Bulletin No. L-SB-0108-17. ? Applicability has been updated to include 2019 model year UX200 and UX250h vehicles. Service Bulletin No. L-SB-0108-17 is obsolete and any printed versions should be discarded. A battery in a stored vehicle is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and life. These conditions include storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, and battery load. Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life. As a matter of policy, Toyota does not provide battery warranty coverage for discharged and/or failed batteries due to lack of maintenance. It is the dealer?s responsibility to maintain the specified State-Of-Charge (SOC) of the vehicle?s battery while in stock and ensure proper SOC at delivery. To eliminate customer service concerns due to an undercharged battery during the first few weeks of ownership, ALL dealers should check battery SOC and recharge, if necessary, within 48 hours of delivery to customers.
