On certain truck tractors equipped with jost international jsk 37U series fifth wheels, a fatigue crack can develop in the bracket pin weld under certain loading conditions.
Risk and remedy
Risk
If left undetected or corrected it could lead to the separation of the fifth wheel top plate from its mounting structure, possibly resulting in a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the bracket pins and repair instructions free of charge. owner notification began november 12, 2003. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact jost international at 616-846-7700 or by email to recall@jostinternational.com or freightliner at 1-800-547-0712.

The old grille and hood part part numbers will no longer be produced, and will supersede to the new design with new part numbers.
- 10146298The right-hand cab panel on New Cascadia can come into contact with the right-hand chassis-side fairing when making a left turn. This contact can result in an audible popping noise, paint-damage to the rocker panel and damage to the back-side of the chassis-side fairing.
- 10146297With the start of production on February 12, 2018, the fasteners used to assemble Airliner rear suspension crossmembers changed. The forward-suspension crossmember will assembled with 5/8-18 fasteners and the rear-suspension (bogie) crossmember will be assembled with 3/4-16 fasteners.
