Aftermarket replacement fuel filters for 1995-2000 short wheelbase chrysler town & country, plymouth voyager and dodge caravan minivans part no. 18232 and date code 0237, 0249, or 0252. replacement fuel filters for 1995-2000 long wheelbase chrysler town & country, plymouth voyager and dodge caravan minivans part no. 18230 and date code 0237, 0249, 0251, or 0304. replacement fuel filters for 2001-2004 chrysler town & country, plymouth voyager and dodge caravan minivans part no. 28871 and date code 0249. these part numbers and date codes appear on the gold-tone filter. distributors and retailers will be notified to isolate and return affected inventory. owners who have had the fuel filter serviced on one of the applicable vehicles after september 17, 2002 should return their vehicle to the service facility to be inspected to see if the fuel filter that was installed IS one that IS involved in the recall. if so, the owners should have the filter replaced. to receive a full refund plus the cost of postage, owners should cut the connectors from the hoses, rinse the connectors and return them together with proof of the amount paid for the replacement part and labor, to intercontinental at intercontinental auto parts, inc., p.o. Vehicle description: MINI vans. the wiring that initiates the driver and/or passenger air bag could electrically short circuit to ground. a short circuit to ground that exists immediately after turning the ignition key to the "on" or "start" position can cause the air bag(s) to inadvertently deploy.

Dealers will perform an electronic diagnostic check. any short circuits identified in either the driver's or passenger side air bag initiator wire circuit will be repaired.

Chrysler dealers will replace the liftgate latch with a new stronger latch assembly without charge. chrysler began notifying owners of these vehicles beginning september 1995.

I had it only on one. Now looking through the complaints I'm wodering if it may be a strutual problem intead of just wear and tear on the vehicle. Date IS not accurat all I remember was that it was last year. the computer wouldn't let me proceed with out a full date input.

Dt*: the contact stated while driving 25 mph, the power failed and the vehicle was coasted to a stop. when the vehicle was taken to the service dealer, the problem was identified as a failed pcm (power control module, which was replaced. later, the air conditioning fuse blew. when the vehicle was returned to the service dealer, the problem was identified as worn wiring at the connection to the fuse box. the wiring was repaired, but the vehicle lost all power again, while driving 25 mph. the vehicle was returned to the service dealer who determined that the wiring harness had failed and needed to be replaced, before further investigations could be made. the manufacturer was not alerted.

I have a 1995 plymouth voyager that was found by my auto mechanic to be leaking fuel onto the exhaust manifold. The defective part was on recall for 1996 voyagers but not for my 1995 voyager eventhough its the same part, the fuel rail. I talked to chris in the recall center at 800-531-1403 and notified him of the part but he would do nothing to expand the recall to my car. There are thousands of 1995 voyagers like mine that have the possibility of catching fire because of this defective part but daimler-chrysler won't do anything about it. This IS a case of gross negligence aside from the fact that they should refund my repair expenses. *nm

I do not mind paying $100 diagnosis fee if I am guaranteed to get the money back when they tell me that the clockspring IS definitely the problem. all I want IS to get the part for free and I'll install it myself. The front driver seat IS leaning back and we can not adjust it back to an upright position. About 4 years ago we had the same problem and found the metal chassis for the seat was defective. I am concerned that if we get into an accident that the seat IS basically useless and would not absorb any impact. IS chrysler doing anything about the defective seats or replacing them. *jb

Our 1995 plymouth voyager was serviced for nhtsa recall 99v113000 and manufacturer's recall 818/air bag deployment and within a couple of months after service the air bag light had come on . light had never been on previous to recall servicing . Returned vehicle years later (light on entire time) and requested to service the problem if related to recall nhtsa recall 99v113000 and manufacturer's recall 818/air bag deployment . Dealer has charged me $82 dollars to tell me that wiper motor needs replacement and additionally a cost of $247.90 would be required to fix the problem. I was informed that the air bags will not work until wiper motor IS replaced. My request to investigate this claim under the recall action was ignored by staff/technicians. Recall was required for a design flaw due to the common fuse between the air bag and rear wiper motor unit, but repair does not include design repair . I am wondering what exactly IS fixed under the recall. symptom IS exact as nhtsa recall 99v11300 and manufacturer's recall 818/air bag deployment , but prestige chrysler dodge of longmont, co. Will not fix under recall and seems to have no concern for consumer safety. *jb

I don't know if this has resulted in anyone getting hurt, but I can see the potential.
