10227273Certain 2017 ~ 2020 model year Hino Conventional vehicles were manufactured with a modified jumper harness between the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and vehicle chassis. The modified jumper harness may allow for potential water intrusion of the modified jumper harness. Water intrusion may cause illumination of the check transmission light on the dashboard. If the illuminated check transmission light is ignored, the transmission may go into fail-safe (or limp mode as it is also called) to protect the transmission from internal damage that could be caused by the fault. While in fail-safe (or limp mode) the transmission will be locked in either 3rd. or 4th. gear. This procedure will provide instruction for replacement of the transmission jumper harness.

10184988Suspension - Leveling valve driveline vibration - 2017 and earlier Conventional Trucks equipped with a Hendrickson air suspension system. The vehicle may exhibit an intermittent driveline noise or vibration. The driver may report the condition to be more noticeable over r ough roads or after changes in the loading of the vehicle. Restriction of the leveling valve (P/N S40G0E0080) on the air suspension may be preventing the valve from venting properly. This would result in incorrect rear suspension ride height and incorrect pinion angle.
10184985Hino Conventional Trucks 2013-17 model year COE Truck. The vehicle may exhibit a MIL lamp illuminated with DTC's P20DE, P2DF, P0087, or P016F, present in the engine ECU due to fuel system contamination. Fuel contalmination can be defined as the presence of water, rust, algae, bacteria, poor quality fuel, or any other substance other than ultra-low sulfur fuel in the fuel system. Fuel tank corrosion is a result of contamination and is NOT considered a manufacturer's defect. Malfunctions that result from fuel contamination are NOT warrantable failures. Contamination can restrict flow to the aftertreatment dosing injector (5th or 7th injector) resulting in DTC's P20DE, P20DE and/or P20DF. 2015 through 2017 model year conventional trucks also have a fuel filter within the bubble separator. If this filter becomes restricted, this restriction can also cause DTC's P20DE, and P20DF. Contamnination can also result in DTC's P016F, and/or P0087 with or without adverse drivability symptoms. Before in depth diagnostics or repairs are performed, inspect the fuel filter housings and fuel tank(s) for signs of contamination.
10184978COE Hydroboost Reservoir fluid overflow or aeration - Trucks with hydraulic assist brake system. A subject vehicle may exhibit one or more of the following conditions: foaming/aeration of the hydraulic fluid in the hydroboost reservoir tank accompanied by noisy brake pedal operation, illumination of the red "Brake" warning lamp, or hydraulic fluid overflowing out of the hydroboost reservoir tank. If the vehicle exhibits these symptoms, the hydroboost reservoir tank requires replacement and the system must be flushed of contamination. Perform the repair procedure below to correct the situation.
10184968Engine - Conventional Trucks (238, 258, 268, or 338) An enkhanced fuel cut valve is available to address a potential sticking condition that results in excess residual pressure in the dosing injector (7th injector) supply pipe. A sticking fuel cut valve may result in the following DTC's setting
