Remedy
Honeywell will notify owners and replace the fuel filters free of charge. the recall began on october 18, 2006. owners may contact fram customer service at 1-800-890-2075 (option 1).
Certain r&b, inc. Central multiport fuel injection (cmfi) fuel return lines, models help 55163, napa balkamp 700-3270, and the connection 2560001, sold for use as replacement equipment for the vehicles listed above. the fuel return line has a mechanical bleed valve which was not installed at the proper torque.

R&b, inc. Will notify owners and at the customers request, either replace the fuel line or offer a full refund. the recall began on may 4, 2006. owners may contact r&b, inc. At 215-712-5330.
Certain pro-a motors corner lamps, turn signals, and headlights sold as replacement lamps for use on certain passenger vehicles listed above. some combination lamps that are not equipped with amber side reflectors fail to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment.

Without the amber reflectors, the vehicle will be poorly illuminated, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash without warning.
Remedy
Pro-a motors will notify owners and offer to repurchase the lamps. the recall began on april 3, 2006. owners may contact pro-a motors at 323-838-2988.
This IS not a safety recall in accordance with the safety act. however, it IS deemed a safety improvement campaign by the agency. vehicle description: certain light duty pickup trucks, sport utility vehicles, or minivans equipped with 3-sensor ABS (antilock braking system) EBC4 units.

Remedy
Dealers will replace or repair the 4-wheel/2-wheel drive switch.
Significant wear can develop on the low and reverse clutch preventing the park pawl from engaging. This can prevent a "no park" condition to occur while the engine IS running, causing unintentional movement of the vehicle without operator action. (The "no park" condition will not occur while the engine IS off.)

Remedy
Dealers will check the transmission fluid for contamination which will indicate if the low or reverse clutch IS worn. If the transmission fluid shows contamination, the transmission will be replaced.

Moto metal will not replace all of the wheels and they know they have a problem. They recalled the 8 lugs but will not recall the 6 lug. TL* the contact owns a 1993 chevrolet blazer. The contact exit the vehicle and within a few minutes the vehicle ignited into flames. There were no personal injuries. The contact and neighbor extinguished the fire. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who detected the faulty fuel injectors which resulted in an engine fire. The vehicle was declared destroyed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 161,000.

I have a 93 S10 blazer and the truck shut down while my daughter was driving. the ecmb fuse was blown and would blow out when the ignition switch would be turned on. I finally tracked the problem down to the fuel pump. when I removed the gas tank and pulled out the fuel pump, the wire inside the tank were welded together and the plug on the end of the fuel pump was melted (fused) together. this really concerns me that these internal components can get hot enough to melt they could easily cause the tank to explode. also the wiring IS attached to the sending unit and to replace both of these components it will cost over $600 just for parts. this IS a terrible design and a nasty hazard, somebody may be killed. *Jb

On february 22,03 vehicle was repaired due to recall on ABS brake system, when we picked up vehicle front axle was engaged full time, feb.22-03 return for repair when returned random brake failure returned and told bearing problem , ??? march 4-03 took to another dealer. told computer problem. Disconnected ABS for safety reasons. I have been told of other incidents on same make and models. *nlm
