The 2013 nissan titan randomly shuts off. Started this year sometime in march and has continued through the year. It will start back up when you put the truck and neutral and turn the key back over. And will run like nothing happened. The majority of the time it shuts off when accelerating from a stop light, stop sign. It IS random and may only happen once a week or could happen 3 times or more a week. Also it has went up to 3 weeks and not shut off. The nissan dealership in winston salem looked at it and kept the truck for a week and drove it. It does not though any codes and was not fixed. It IS very dangerous. It has cut off on my kids and I while going through an intersection. I have now had other people look at it. And it has them puzzled. Now I'm stuck making payments on a truck that could get us hurt or killed.

While on a road trip to tennessee, 1.5 hours away from our destination we stopped at a gas station. We took the key out of the ignition of the truck and the truck kept running. All of the warning lights also came on at once. we could not turn the car off by disconnecting the battery because the alternator kept the car running. A check of the computer at an o'reilly auto parts did not show any computer warning codes. Since we did not want to be stranded 8 hours away from home, we decided to drive back home. While on the freeway, the truck's engine completely shut off. We had no power steering or power brakes. We were able to get it to the shoulder and restart the truck. While driving it off of the exit ramp, the truck died again. We tried going to another auto parts store but they were not able to get a code reading off of the car. A call to a nissan dealership told us to just pull fuses to shut the car off and that they wouldn't be able to help us for 2 days. We disconnected the battery when the truck had died to try to reset the system and drove back on the highway. The truck died again. A call to the nissan roadside assistance hotline told us we should just call 9-1-1. We realized that if we didn't drive the car faster than 60 mph we it would not shut off while driving so we were able to make it home. This incident could have killed us had my husband not been as skilled of a driver. Online research shows that other people have had the same issue with their nissan titans. This IS an extremely serious issue and, when contacting nissan about it, they do not care. Please help us. *Tt *dt the consumer stated the vehicle was finally diagnosed with a hole in the top of the trucks muffler, which the leak caused an electrical system short in multiple locations. *Tr

On april 5TH, 2015 when attempting to transfer from my wheelchair to the drivers seat of my 2013 nissan titan the grab handle on the a-pillar broke causing me to fall onto the ground. - 10192840SERVICE INFORMATION Temporary tire Flat Spotting is common on New Dealer In-Stock vehicles that have not been occasionally moved. Flat Spotting can occur after the vehicle has been parked (not moved) for a few days, or longer. In most cases it is temporary. In extreme cases it can be permanent. Vehicles should be moved every 30 days, in one direction only, enough to rotate the tires 90 (see Figure 1). Moving vehicles as shown will prevent tire Flat Spotting. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192821SERVICE INFORMATION Replacement 5-speed rear wheel drive Automatic Transmission (A/T) assemblies and replacement control valves (valve bodies) now come with blank Transmission Control Modules (TCMs). Blank TCMs come without software and must be programmed (not reprogrammed) and then configured after they are installed. When ordering a replacement A/T or control valve, use the Nissan electronic parts information systems to obtain the correct software program part number See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192813SERVICE INFORMATION If the configuration of the Audio/Navigation unit has not been completed correctly, some of the symptoms that may occur are: * Intermittent or no back up camera operation * No steering wheel switch response to audio inputs * No volume response from volume knob * Volume very loud or very quiet and adjustment is overly sensitive * Equalizer is adjusted so that Bass control is at maximum all the time * DTC U1000 for AVM C/U could be present If the above symptoms occur: * Confirm the configuration of the Audio/Navigation unit is correct. NOTE: Correct configuration of the appropriate control unit will restore correct operation. Audio/Navigation unit configuration is outlined starting on page 2. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192805IF YOU CONFIRM A refrigerant leak at a refrigerant pipe/hose joint location. ACTIONS 1. Inspect the metal surfaces of the pipe/hose joint for damage or contamination. NOTE: Do not replace a refrigerant pipe, hose, or other A/C component if an o-ring seal will solve the leak incident, if it should occur. 2. If no damage is found to the joint metal surfaces, replace the O-ring seal. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192801SERVICE INFORMATION Because of collision damage or other vehicle repair, a replacement "Certification Label" or "VIN Plate / Label" may be needed. These items may be available from Nissan by request if certain criteria are met. This bulletin lists the criteria and provides an application form for such replacements. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192787SERVICE INFORMATION If the clip for the fuel filler cap tether becomes lost or is detached for any reason, it is no longer necessary to replace the fuel filler cap. The clip or "pin" is now available as a separate service part. NOTE - Do not replace the fuel filler cap if only the pin is needed. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192750SERVICE INFORMATION Occasionally customers may notice water vapor or fog in the headlamps. The information, illustrations, and flow chart in this bulletin are provided to help you in determining if an incident for water/condensation in the headlamps is normal or not. Nissan?s new vehicle limited warranty does not cover physically damaged (cracked or broken) headlamps. All current headlamp assemblies are vented to the atmosphere (not sealed). - This is necessary to allow for expansion and contraction of air from temperature "variations" (warmer or colder) without damage to the headlamp. - Moisture in the air sometimes "travels" into and out of the headlamp assembly through these vents. - Certain environmental conditions may cause moisture to condense. - The fogging/cloudiness should disappear over time when the headlamp is in a dry environment. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192747IF YOU CONFRIM An oil leak at the right side block ball plug behind the alternator. ACTION Use a punch to seat the block ball plug in the hole (refer to the Service Procedure). NOTE - Do not replace the engine block for this incident if it should occur. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192727SERVICE INFORMATION The purpose of this bulletin is to give Nissan dealers guidelines to help determine if windshield breakage is covered under warranty or is the customer?s responsibility. Nissan North America (NNA) is not responsible for damage to glass that is a result of objects striking or scratching the glass. However, NNA is responsible for manufacturing issues such as distorted glass and cracks that are due to improper installation or damage to the glass during vehicle assembly. NNA typically does not find any type of cracks in the windshield due to stress after the dealership PDI. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192707SERVICE INFORMATION The Intelligent Keys used on the various Nissan vehicles may not be interchangeable between models and years. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192687SERVICE INFORMATION Design and process changes have been made to improve battery voltage at dealer receipt. Our goal is to deliver vehicles to customers with a 12 volt battery in excellent condition. Proper dealership storage and maintenance of vehicle 12 volt batteries is essential to insuring good battery operating life and customer satisfaction. Dealers are responsible for maintaining vehicles in their inventory. 12 volt batteries in vehicle inventory should always be kept at a full charge to prevent excessive discharge during storage and so they are ready for delivery to customers at any time. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192679SERVICE INFORMATION Power moonroof initialization procedures for the Applied Vehicles have been revised. The procedure described in this bulletin differs from the procedure in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM). At a later date and where possible, the applicable ESMs will be updated with the revised procedures. Follow the procedure in this bulletin should the power moonroof in an Applied Vehicle need to be initialized. See this bulletin for further details.
