On October 10, 2026, while traveling down the interstate at approximately 80 mph, the dash on my vehicle began flashing the following error messages: Service AdvanceTrac, Check Brake System, Service Vehicle Soon, Part Brake Limited Function Service Required, and PreCollision Assist Not available. Also showed multiple service needed icons. The car did not have any brakes. It did not appear to have the hydraulic fail safe functioning either. We put the vehicle in neutral and coasted. Once we slowed down to about 30 mph, the rear brakes only began locking up. We did have park on the transmission. Once we got stopped, we shut the vehicle off, which appeared to reset the electronic issues. We were close to home so we made it safely. On Monday morning, we had it towed to the local Ford dealership. The brakes were working again and the entire brake system checked out fine. They did replace the Electronic Brake Booster and say the issue is now fixed. I have been in contract with Ford Motor Company, as the vehicle is well within warranty, and they will not complete a buy back - which I disagree with as this should fall under the safety concern umbrella.
Today, while driving on the Causeway in New Orleans, the longest bridge in the world, my panoramic sunroof exploded at 70 mph and almost caused me to wreck my car. The exact same thing happened to my previous expedition. It was a 2024 limited trim and both instances are very disturbing and have really affected me negatively. I almost wrecked the car both times. Something has to be done about these panoramic sunroofs.
Traveling south onXXX toward [XXX] approx 15 miles south of [XXX]. 3 pm. Was in outside lane. Ford Blue Cruise was engaged. My hands were near the wheel. I noticed a heavy white lane marking coming diagonally from the right outside lane to the inside lane. Evidently this was a painting error. When I approached the abnormal paint line my vehicle swerved abruptly to the left in attempting to follow the lane marking. I was able to grab the wheel at the last moment. With a little force I was able to straighten the vehicle. I believe my vehicle swerved into the inner south lane leading to the median. Fortunately there was no vehicle in the inner lane at the time. I possibly would have collided with another vehicle. No inspection by Ford or inspection independent repair. No warning etc noted. I believe the Blue Cruise followed the highway paint error. I then turned off cruise for remaining trip. I will be especially cautious when using blue cruise in the future or more than likely never use it again. This paint issue may still be present and other ble cruise users may notice the same safety issue that I did. The empty passenger sea, steering wheel, center console and sun visor has aggressive shake at speeds over 35MPH. Dealer did the road force balance but that didn't fix it, it's something in drivertaina nd they are refusing to fix it. Vehicle seems unsafe to derive
Sun roof exploded while we were driving along on the interstate.
Description On your vehicle it is possible that the trailer module trm may lose communication at vehicle start-up. If a trm loss of communication occurs and a trailer is connected to the vehicle, trailer stop lamps and turn signal indicators will not function. Additionally, for trailers equipped with electronic trailer brakes, the trailer brakes will not function. This loss of communication can occur with-or-without a trailer connected to the vehicle and can only initiate at vehicle start-up. If this occurs, a trailer brake module fault notification will pop-up on the vehicles instrument panel cluster. The vehicle brake and turn signal lamps will continue to operate normally and are not affected by this trm fault. If you do not tow with your vehicle, you may wait for ota deployment for your vehicle remedy. Safety Risk This may result in inoperable trailer brake lights, trailer turn signals and trailer braking functions that can reduce a drivers ability to control an attached trailer and make the trailer less visible to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Remedy Software is available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to reprogram your vehicles trm free of charge. The contact owns a 2026 Ford Expedition MAX. The contact stated that while driving at 70 MPH or higher speeds, the steering wheel shuddered due to a front suspension issue. The contact completed some research online and learned that it was a known failure associated with 2025 - 2026 model years. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 800.
With speeds in excess of 70 MPH, the car have a violent shake. The shake gets worse as you approach 80 MPH. This is in both the 2025 and 2026 Ford Expedition models. This put drivers at risk, as they must keep control of the car at all times on the highway if they are in excess of 70 MPH. The car has already been inspected by Ford and they did a road balance test and replaced one tire. The car still shakes at high speeds. Ford is looking to bring my car in a 2nd time to look at the issue again. No warning lights came on. This appears to be a driving issue not related to anything that would come up electronically.
At highway speeds there is a vibration. Had at the dealership for road test, balance, and alignment. Did not fix the problem. Discovered that many more are having the same issue.
Instrument panel reflection is causing a windshield glare that impairs driver visibility during normal operation. The issue originates from the panoramic display screen located behind the steering wheel. The back surface of the display is built too close to the windshield glass and causes a strong reflection that projects high onto the inside of the windshield during normal driving conditions. This reflection appears to be a design or material-related defect rather than a one-time failure. The issue occurs consistently during daytime driving when sunlight is present and is easily reproducible. I have reported the issue to the dealership and am in the process of having it formally evaluated and documented. There were no warning lamps or messages. The issue occurs during normal driving conditions when sunlight interacts with back of the instrument display.
Steering wheel clicking when rotating, LOUD whirring/humming noise directly under where the sliding console is located, noise reverberates all throughout the cab and is worse at 65mph
